Jason Lane McKoy was born in Queens and raised by New York City. He
laughs, he loves, he makes things. He started off as a T-shirt designer
and ended up so much more. His favorite drink is whiskey and he drinks
it often. Much of his work deals with "Eros" and "Thanatos", that is,
most of his work tackles his notions and ideas of life and death and
everything in between. He is obsessed with his own mortality as much as
he is inspired by it.
Jason Lane McKoy is not an artist. Jason Lane McKoy is a conversation
starter; a complicated subject and a delicate predicate. He makes art
because he doesn't know what else to do.
