Kaori Ogura was born in 1986 in Kanagawa, Japan. She studied graphic design at Tama art university. Currently she works as an illustrator and amateur photographer.
She started taking pictures when she was 18 years old. Tetsuya Ichimura, who is a famous photographer, during the solo exhibition she held in Japan in March 2009.
